Board

Governance, leadership and accountability at ADRA South Africa.

Accountability

Governance and Accountability

ADRA South Africa is governed by a Board of women and men with expertise in humanitarian and NGO management, finance, law, health, education and theology. The Board is appointed by our constituency, the Executive Committee of the Southern Africa Union Conference, and exercises governance oversight through committees covering finance and audit, programmes, and human resources and governance.

Day-to-day leadership rests with the Country Director, supported by a Finance Director and a programmes, communications and operations team. Programmes are implemented through provincial project teams working directly with communities.

We are accountable to the people we serve, to our donors and to the ADRA network. ADRA South Africa is licensed and accredited by ADRA International, operates under ADRA's global policies and standards, and reports through the ADRA Africa Regional Office.
